Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Doctoor collects, uses and protects data, both subscribed doctors' data and their website visitors' data.
1Data we collect
- Doctor data: name, specialty, email, phone number, social links, and an image of the syndicate card for verification only.
- Booking data entered by a visitor of the doctor's website: name, phone number, appointment time, and the visit reason if provided.
- Operational data: the number of visits to the doctor's website, with the IP address to avoid counting the same visit twice.
2We store no medical data
- Doctoor does not store any medical records, prescriptions or test results.
- The QR code printed on the doctor's prescription only directs the patient to the doctor's website to book an appointment.
3How we use data
- Running the doctor's website and booking system.
- Verifying the doctor's identity and credibility before activating their website.
- Sending verification messages and notifications by email or WhatsApp.
- We never sell data or use it for advertising.
4How we protect data
- All connections to the website are encrypted (HTTPS).
- Passwords are stored with one-way encryption.
- Images and files are stored on encrypted Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers.
- Only the responsible admin team can view verification documents.
5Data sharing
- We do not share data with third parties, except technical providers needed to operate the service (hosting, storage and messaging), or when legally required.
- Patient booking data is available only to the doctor who owns the website, who is responsible for handling it.
6Your rights
- Doctors can view and update their data from the control panel at any time.
