Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Doctoor. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1Definitions

  • Doctoor: a SaaS service that allows the doctor to create their own medical website, with their own visual identity, to display their services and receive patient bookings directly.
  • Client / Doctor: Any healthcare practitioner who subscribes to Doctoor to create their own website and use its tools. They are the sole contracting party with Doctoor.
  • Medical Website: The website created by the doctor using Doctoor's tools and templates, remaining entirely under their name, identity, and management.
  • Website Visitor: Any person who visits the medical website to book an appointment or inquire. No direct contractual or legal relationship links them to Doctoor.

2Nature of Service

  • Doctoor is a tool for building and operating a private medical website for the doctor, with their full visual identity (name, logo, colors, content), within the templates available in their package.
  • Doctoor's contractual relationship is with the doctor only, as the subscriber and user of the service. Website visitors and the doctor's patients are not a party to this agreement, and no direct relationship connects them to Doctoor.
  • The service is provided through packages (Starter – Premium – VIP), which differ from each other in terms of the features and tools available to the doctor.

3Subscription and Joining Conditions

  • The doctor is obligated to provide correct and complete information upon registration (name, specialty, communication channels, and any professional documents requested by Doctoor).
  • The doctor is committed to updating their data in the event of any change that affects their website or the services displayed.
  • Doctoor reserves the right to reject or suspend any account proven to have provided incorrect or impersonated data.

4Website Creation and Customization

  • The doctor has the right to choose the colors, logo, images, and text content of their website within the limits of the template available in their package.
  • The content displayed on the website (images, articles, contact details, prices, appointments) is entirely the doctor's content, and they are solely responsible for its accuracy, credibility, and compliance with laws.
  • It is prohibited to use the website to publish any content violating laws or professional regulations. Doctoor reserves the right to remove any violating content in severe cases, with notification to the doctor.

5Appointment Booking System

  • The website provides the doctor with a booking system that allows visitors to book an appointment directly with them, according to the times and conditions defined by the doctor.
  • Booking is a direct and free process between the doctor and the website visitor, without any intervention or mediation from Doctoor, and without any fees or commission on any booking made.
  • The doctor alone determines the booking, cancellation, and no-show policies for their website, and they are solely responsible to their visitors for them.
  • Doctoor bears no responsibility for any booking, appointment, or transaction that takes place between the doctor and their website visitors, as it is not a party to this process.

6Packages and Fees

  • Doctoor is offered through packages (Starter – Premium – VIP) with fixed subscription fees, collected monthly or annually according to the doctor's choice at registration.
  • Subscription fees are Doctoor's sole source of revenue. Doctoor does not deduct any commission or percentage from the doctor's bookings or revenues resulting from using their website.
  • The doctor bears any additional fees or taxes imposed on them under the local laws of their place of business.
  • Doctoor has the right to modify package prices for future subscriptions, with notification to the doctor before applying any change to their current subscription.

7Free trial (30 days)

  • The doctor gets a 30-day free trial starting from the date their website is activated, with no fees and no payment details required.
  • Before the trial ends, the doctor receives a payment link to choose a monthly or yearly subscription. No amount is charged unless the doctor decides to subscribe.
  • If the doctor does not subscribe after the trial ends, their website stays available for a short grace period and is then suspended until they subscribe, according to the cancellation section (Section 8).

8Cancellation and Subscription Suspension

  • The doctor has the right to cancel their subscription at any time from the control panel or by contacting support.
  • Upon cancellation, the website remains active until the end of the paid period (the current month or year), and is then stopped.
  • In the event of non-renewal of the subscription, the website may be suspended or become unavailable to visitors until renewal is completed.

9Doctor's Obligations

  • Using the website and its tools in compliance with the laws and professional regulations applicable in their place of practice.
  • Clearly defining and displaying the booking and cancellation policies of their clinic on their website, and bearing full responsibility for compliance to their visitors.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of any data obtained from website visitors through the booking system, and not using it for any purpose outside providing the medical service.

10Intellectual Property

  • The doctor retains ownership of all content they upload to their website (images, texts, logo, personal brand).
  • Ownership rights of the template designs, software, and Doctoor's tools in all forms remain the property of Doctoor.
  • It is prohibited to copy, reuse, or resell any part of Doctoor's templates or tools outside the scope of the license granted to the subscribed doctor.

11Data Confidentiality

  • Doctoor is committed to protecting the data of subscribed doctors, and not sharing it with third parties except for legal or operational necessity.
  • Website visitors' data (such as booking details) is used only to run the booking system on the doctor's website. The responsibility for handling it lies with the doctor as the website owner and actual service provider.
  • Doctoor does not store any medical data or prescriptions. The QR code printed on the doctor's prescription only directs the patient to the doctor's website to book an appointment.

12Service Suspension or Termination

  • Doctoor has the right to suspend or terminate the doctor's website in the event of a material violation of these terms, with prior notice to the doctor where possible.
  • Stopping the subscription due to non-payment is not considered a breach by Doctoor, and the website is reactivated immediately upon settlement of due fees.

13Limit of Doctoor's Liability

  • Doctoor's role is limited to providing the doctor with a website building tool and a booking system, without any intervention in the medical or contractual relationship between the doctor and their visitors.
  • Doctoor bears no responsibility for the quality of medical service, appointment accuracy, or any dispute arising between the doctor and any visitor to their website.

14Amendments to the Terms

  • Doctoor reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Subscribed doctors will be notified of any material modification via email or control panel notifications.
  • Continued use of Doctoor after the application of amendments constitutes agreement to the updated terms.

15Applicable Law

  • These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
  • Any dispute will first be settled amicably where possible; otherwise it will be referred to the competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
